When citing within a paper:

Take the first word of the source, followed by the page number or internet address.

For example:

Although computers may lead to many improvements in education, one computer critic contends that they lack the ability to provide "a cure for ills that are social and political in nature". (Lanham, 23)      (book or magazine citation)

or (Lanham, <http: //www. manwhowouldbeking.com>)      (Internet citation)

 

 

Be careful to place a period at the end of every different item. 

For Example:     Magazine article

(author). (title of magazine article). (title of magazine).
(date of magazine)
